The banking crisis in the United States has been worrying financial markets. In a short time, Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank have gone bankrupt and yet another institution is facing problems.

Amid this scenario, the U.S. federal government is trying to protect the money of customers of banks that have declared bankruptcy, to try to contain the risk of a crisis in the banking sector and at the same time, to control the turmoil affecting the smaller banks in the country.
